TCP Tuesday - Birthday Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to be participating in today's TCP Tuesday because it's a special birthday blog hop! (More on that in a second.)  Amy is the Hostess with the Mostess today and her challenge is to get WOODY.  Be sure to start at her blog since she's the beginning of the hop and she has all the of the TCP Tuesday details!  For my card, I used the super cute A Beary Good Year clear set, cardstock from SU! and Woodgrain paper from A Muse.  The "banner" on the card is actually a party hat that is included in the clear set,  I just masked off the little pom-pom on the top of the stamp, flipped it upside down and stamped it in a curve. Easy-peasy!  

So, I mentioned this was a special birthday hop and it's for none other than the uber talented, super generous and extremely creative Alma!!  If you don't know Alma (how could that be?!) she's the owner/creator of The Cat's Pajamas stamps.  She's also the first person that took a chance on me and asked me to join her design team.  I am forever grateful to her for being so kind and generous to me! Love you, Alma! Happy birthday!

One month and an update

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of weeks.  Things were going SO WELL with little Zeke and I was just getting back on my feet after the c-section and then I was hit with a very severe case of vertigo.  I'm not sure if anyone of you have ever had it but it is the scariest, most horrible thing I've ever experienced.  Basically, the whole world spins out of control and I can't move at all without vomiting.  Not a good to happen when you have a newborn baby.  Anyway, I had it before two years ago so I'm back on the meds that should help.  Please pray this never comes back! I'm still not back to normal but I'm getting a bit better each day. 

Okay, enough about that ugly stuff! :) On to something super cute - Zeke! Today he is one month old! Can you believe how fast time is going?  He is such a sweet baby and I'm so happy and thankful for him!

Hi everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Everything is going so well with my sweet little baby boy but he is definitely keeping me very busy!  I have two cards to share today that I made before he was born but first, how about some baby eye-candy? :)
