This is one that I taught for a class earlier this year. The little snow globe is a sticker but I can't remember who it's by, sorry! The notecard, paper and letters are A Muse and then scallop punch is EK Success. Simple but cute! :)

Betcha thought I was going to forget to post today, huh? :) Well, I'm getting the card up, even if it's late! Although, I have to say, I'm not loving this card at all. I think it falls under the category of "meh". Not my fave, but not the most hideous thing ever, either. Oh well, they can't all be marvelous masterpieces, haha!
The snowflakes were made using adhesive sheets punched out with a Marvy snowflake punch and then I added purple glitter. The image, sentiment and notecard are A Muse (of course!)

Hi there! Here's card number two for the Christmas Card Countdown! Are you shocked I've actually blogged two days in a row? I know I am, lol!
My card today is actually one we made in one my recent classes. I just love this Under the Mistletoe image, it's one of my faves from the holiday release from A Muse. I went with a bright and fun color scheme instead of traditional Christmas colors and I like how it turned out! The image is colored with Copic markers and I used an edge punch from EK Success to make the scallops on the brown strip.

Hey chickies! Sorry I've been MIA for awhile, I just haven't had anything crafty to share - until today! The A Muse blog has been having LOTS of holiday inspiration lately (be sure to check it out!) and I've got a fast and fabulous card featured on there today. For my card, I wanted to try something a little different for me and use black as the card base. Not something I would normally use for a holiday card but I like how it turned out! And without even knowing it, Julie used the same color scheme, isn't that fun? :) I looooove the shimmer damask paper and it pairs perfectly with the Solid Damask image. A simple sentiment and couple of pearls finish off the card! Enjoy!
Heather Nichols is one of my favorite stampers and I'm always so inspired by her! She posted several cards the other day and as soon as I saw the fifth one down, I knew I wanted to make my own version of it. I used a clear stamp set from Hero Arts for the tree and since it was a clear stamp, it made lining them up evenly a snap! The GORGEOUS damask paper is from A Muse - I LOVE IT!!! I'm really happy with how this card turned out, I just wish I would have come up with it on my own, lol!

Hey there! How is your Wednesday going? I've been feeling quite a bit better lately so I'm having a good day! (Although, I've been up since 4:15 a.m. - ACK!)
I've got another One Sheet Wonder card to show you today. I know it's been awhile since I wrote the original post, so you might want to click on it to refresh your memory. Anyway, my card today uses the ADORABLE Cupcake Builder set from A Muse. It's definitely my "go-to" set for birthdays! :) Hope you like it!

Hellooooo! Sorry I'm a lame-o and didn't get a card posted yesterday! I was super busy in the morning and then I just crashed in the afternoon. I do have a card today, though! There have been soooo many gorgeous cards made with the new stamps from A Muse and my card was inspired by this one from Rhonda and this one from Krystie. Don't you just LOVE this new outline flower image? I can't wait to use it more. And of course, I'm used some of the new shimmer paper. This stuff is to die for and my pictures do not do it justice! Hopefully your local stamp store has some so you can see it in person! :)
Okay, off to snuggle with my boys and watch Ratatouille. Hope you're all having a great Saturday! (Sorry about the poor photo, it's pretty gray here and I didn't want to pull out my photo box.)
Today I've got a cool and crisp card using the new gorgeous shimmer paper from A Muse! I'm soooo in love with all the new goodies, I can't stop using them! The new Leaf Frond image was stamped in ColorBox Moss Green and then cut out using my Cutterbee scissors and attached at an angle over the scallop circle with the Thank you RM sentiment on it. (Stamped in ColorBox Aqua.) I added a pearl on each of the full scallops along the bottom of the card, I just love this look! And there are TONS of pearls in each package, so I don't need to hoard them, lol! :) Have you seen the A muse blog yet today? I have another sample on there so be sure to check it out! Today I'm using the new Dill image, Espresso Shimmer paper and Apple Damask Shimmer paper. I'm telling you, this damask paper is the best thing EVER! I'm completely obsessed with it and can't stop using it! And just wait until you see all the new colors, they are scrumptious! And did you notice the other new thing? Check out the center of the flower petals...yep, those are the new Cranberry colored pearls!! Aaaahh! So pretty! To color my flower, I dabbed a Q-tip lightly in red ink and smudged it onto the flower. It gives it a nice, soft color.

ETA again - I had another person ask how I cut out the leaves and the answer is very carefully, lol! I just used my Cutterbee scissors and one trick for cutting out skinny images (like the stem) is to cut them out first and then move on to the larger part of the image next. It makes it a lot easier to do it that way. I also left just the slightest outline of white around the image to make it "pop" off the page more and not get lost in the colors of the paper.

It's calendar time! I'm sure you've probably already seen this on the A Muse blog or newsletter but if you haven't, A Muse has a designed a wonderful calendar in lots of different sizes that can be purchased and then printed out and decorated however you want! And not only are these calendars super cute, they're for a very a good cause. All of the proceeds will go to Water 1st, an organization dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to the poorest of areas around the world. For my calendar, I decided to use the A2 size (which is basically 4.25" x 5.5"). I wanted to make each page simple but cute and coordinated, so I decided to use the petite gingham paper as a sort of "tie-in" between all of the pages. I also used LOTS of Twinkle Stickers (I love bling!)

Hello! You've probably already seen this new Pumpkin image but I just had to use it! I think it's my fave from the upcoming release from A Muse. And doesn't it go perfectly with the Vine Border? (By the way, I don't know what that white smudgy thing next to the sentiment is, I didn't notice it when I made the card last night so I'm thinking maybe Theo got a hold of my card this morning and added his little touch to it!) :)

Every month Jennie hosts another great challenge over at the A Muse lounge and this time it's to make a project using a stamp that hasn't been used before. I don't normally get to play along but this month I did (not once, but twice! The next card will be coming soon.) I've been needing lots of baby cards lately so I thought it would be smart to make a few to have on hand. As you probably know, I LOATH mass-producing cards. Seriously, I can't stand it so it's like pulling teeth for me to make more than one of the same card. However, once I do, I'm always soooo happy to have extra cards around! I think I need to just get over it and start making more than one card all the time! :) For my card, I went with a super simple design since I was going to make several of them and I just switched out the paper for the boy and girl versions. I started with this delish A Muse petite gingham paper that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my new QuicKuts embossing folder (seriously, I LOOOOOVE that thing!), then I embossed a strip of French Roast notecard using my Swiss Dots embossing folder and since the back side of the brown paper is white, embossing it gives it a different look because some of the white shows through. The Crib image was stamped with Adirondack ink (first time using this stamp!) and then I stamped it again on the gingham paper, cut out the "bumper" and adhered it to my first stamped image. The image is punched out using a Marvy punch and then I attached it to the card using pop-dots. Sweet and simple! The inside is stamped with this sentiment (first time using that one, too!) Hope you like it! I'm off to start the day with Starbuck's and toast! :)
I had a little bit of "free" stamping time this morning but couldn't come with ANYTHING so I popped on over to splitcoaststampers.com to hunt for some inspiration. They have a sketch challenge every week and after checking it out, I decided to play along this time. I already had this polka-dot paper embossed (isn't it THE CUTEST???! I'm absolutely IN LOVE with this embossing folder! And Nancy has them at Scattered Pictures!) so I grabbed some scrap of A Muse gingham paper and went to work. I used several different stamps on this one, the backgroung flourish is TCP, the star flourish (stamped on the kraft paper but hard to see in the photo) is Verve Stamps and the sentiment is PTI. I was mixing and matching today! The star was made witha SU! punch, adhesive sheets and glitter.
It's a cool gray morning here and I'm loving it! I'm sooo ready for Fall! Yay for jeans, boots and cute sweaters! :)

AAAAHHHHH!!! The first shot of the boys!! LOTS of screaming was happening at this point!! (Of course, my camera died right as they were coming on stage but I got pictures from Lori and Teresa.) Also, originally we were in the 200 level but long story short, I talked to a few people and we got moved to the 100 level, right in the middle up on this platform thing so we were soooooo close - it was AMAZING!!!!

That's the concert in a very small nutshell. (Seriously, I have like, 100 more pictures.) The next day, we went shopping in Seattle including a stop at the A Muse shop! Yippee!! Here's me in front of the shop, and then a picture of one of my cards on display (it was sooooo fun to see some of my cards there!)

Hi there! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I really haven't made anything new (except for class/design work) so I thought I'd show you one of my class samples. This is one of my favorite cards that I made using the new AP stamps. Isn't the penguin fishing so cute? And I added the little gift that he's fishing for - what a fun suprise for him! :)

For my card today, I didn't do anything too creative, just tied three of my fave grosgrain stitch ribbons around the card and added a sweet little sentiment. Super easy but cute!

Yippee! The new stamps are up on the A Muse website! Have you checked them out yet? Which one is your favorite? I think mine is the Surf Board, even though I don't surf or anything, I just love it! I think it's the cool swirl design on it.
So, I have a fun little "scene" card for you today! I'm absolutely LOVING this new tinygingham paper and it makess the most perfect water - don't you think? I made the waves using a small circle punnch and added a bit of dimension on them by lightly distressing the edge using blue chalk ink. The "island" is hand colored using a Sand colored Copic marker.
Okay, I'm having serious computer issues right now so I gotta cut this short. (My keyboard is barely working and the cursor keeps jumping around making it almost impossible to type!) Be sure to check out all the new goodies over at A Muse - you're gonna love them!

Hello chicas! Are you ready for a little amuse-bouche? I'm soooo excited about this release from A Muse because I am more than ready for summer and these stamps put me in the mood for sun! :) Isn't the cabana stamp sooo cute? Hhhmm, I think I'll change Manly Monday to Wednesday since it seems that's when I always get it posted, lol! My card today is a super simple Father's Day card I made to give to my husband. For the sentiment, I masked off the "more than" from this sentiment (I do that a lot) and then added a circle frame over it. (To make the frame, simply punch a circle from a square piece of cardstock.) I then stamped the tiny heart over the "love" to add just one more little touch. The inside says "Happy Father's Day." Super simple but hopefully my DH likes it!
