After a very hectic morning (and by "hectic" I mean me throwing a fit because I literally have nothing to wear and telling Stacy, JUST GO WITHOUT ME!), we finally were on our way to church. About half way there, though, we realized we had forgotten a binky for Theo and we can't go anywhere without one because he is so loud and fussy so we turned around and headed home. We decided since we were all already dressed and in the car to try going to church one more time so we headed back and made it but were 45 minutes late. I was pretty annoyed and thought it was basically pointless to be going at this point. The cool thing is, though, when we got to Isaiah's class they had already headed downstairs for worship so we took Isaiah to Ivy Hall and got to watch the 4's and 5's have worship time. I didn't even know they did that! They had a band and everything so the kids got to sing and worship just like we do in the real service. It was awesome! To see those little kids jumping around and lifting their hands to heaven, it made my heart soar! Wow, what a blessing to see Isaiah in his own little element, doing his thing away from Mama and Daddy. He looked so big and grown up. They even had the kids pray for one other person. I wonder if Isaiah actually did it and what he said? I'm so glad we made it church today. Even if it was just to see my little man growing up. My hope is that in the years to come and especially when he's away from us, that he will continue to lift his hands and worship our Heavenly Father.
