Okay, since I didn't get a chance to photograph my card for today, I'm posting one of my favorites from last year instead. I figure a lot of you are new to my blog so you probably didn't see this one last year so it's okay. :)
The paper is from a DCWV paper pack the images are from The Cat's Pajamas. The sentiment is from a clear set but I'm not sure who it's by. Hope you like it!
I've got another scrappy card for you guys today! (Meaning, there's no stamping on it and I used scrapbooking supplies.) This is from another kit that I have but hadn't ever broken into before this. I have waaaay too much stuff! I could probably make a Christmas card every day for a year and barely make a dent in everything, lol! By the way, since this is the 15th it's means there's only 10 left until Christmas - yippee! Can't wait!
(I'm not sure how all this is by, maybe the Paper Studio? I need to get better at checking my supplies before I put them all away.) :)

Here's card #14 for you! The image is stamped with A Muse black ink and then I decided to keep it simple by only coloring in the accessories instead of the whole drink and I like how it turned out. Sweet and simple! :) The inside is stamped with "Cheers to you!" but I thought this could work for a holiday party invitation as well. And (of course) I had to use more of my favorite damask shimmer paper, this time in Lime. I know I keep saying this but I loooooove this stuff! It's so pretty in real life. Loves!!

Hey everyone! Here's another card just under the wire! It's been fun posting everyday but definitely a lot hard than I thought it would be. :)
This card is another Craft Table Card since I just used stuff that I had out on my table. The red cardstock is SU!, the paper and die-cuts are My Mind's Eye and the ribbon is A Muse. Super quick and simple!
Hope you all had a great weekend! We got lots done and tonight we're going to drive around and look at Christmas lights with popcorn and hot chocolate - can't wait!

Hey there! Here's card number 10 for ya! As I said yesterday, I loooooove this damask paper! I seriously can not get enough of it and use it all the time! It's very shimmery and gorgeous in real life and perfect for Christmas cards! The images are stamped and outlined with Copic markers instead of colored all the way in. I like to do this sometimes just to break things up and do something different. And wouldn't this make a perfect gift card holder? Just slip a Starbucks or Target gift card in and you're good to go!
Speaking of Target, that's where I'm headed in a little bit to get stocking stuffers (Stockings are my FAVORITE!!) Talk to you later!

Can you believe it's the 9th of December already??? Man, this month is FLYING by!! It'll be Christmas before we know it!
I decided to change things up a little bit today and show you a holiday thank you card instead of just a traditional Christmas card. I always have very good intentions of sending out thank you's to people after the holidays, but honestly, I never actually do it! :( This year, however, I'm determined to get it done, so I'm starting on them early!
My card is pretty simple since I will be mass producing them. I used the gorgeous shimmer damask paper from A Muse (I seriously DIE over this stuff I love it so much!) on the top of the card and then a strip of Lime shimmer with the sentiment embossed in white powder. You can't tell in the photo but I actually scored vertical lines along the bottom of the card and in real life, it gives it a nice detailed finish. The snowflake was punched out, attached with a brad and then I added lots of glitter to it so it's nice and bling-y! :) Hope you like it! Will you be sending out thank you's this year?
Here's a sweet little card for you guys! :) I loooove this paper from Heidi Swapp! I got a bunch of it and am planning on doing some more cards with it in the future. And this sentiment from A Muse is just perfect for it, don't ya think? The peppermint candy brad is from an online store, but I can't remember which one. :( I just googled "candy cane brad" and this is one of the options that came up.

(Once again, the color is off on this because it's so gray outside. Anyone know how to take the gray out of photos without skewing the colors?)

Betcha thought I was going to forget to post today, huh? :) Well, I'm getting the card up, even if it's late! Although, I have to say, I'm not loving this card at all. I think it falls under the category of "meh". Not my fave, but not the most hideous thing ever, either. Oh well, they can't all be marvelous masterpieces, haha!
The snowflakes were made using adhesive sheets punched out with a Marvy snowflake punch and then I added purple glitter. The image, sentiment and notecard are A Muse (of course!)

Only 21 days until Christmas!! Yippee, I can't wait! I'm loving this time of year so much, even though it's crazy busy. We've been doing something "Christmas-y" everyday, even if it's just something little like reading holiday books, and we're all having a great time! Now all we need is some snow! :)
Speaking of snow, onto the card! I went with something a little out of my comfort zone and bit more "scrappy" then I usually do. The notecard, red paper and sentiment are all from A Muse, the felt snowflakes are SU!, and the polka-dot embossing folder is QuicKutz. I had the scrap of red paper on my craft table so I decided to just emboss it instead of the whole card and I think it gives it a cool look.

Hi there! Here's card number two for the Christmas Card Countdown! Are you shocked I've actually blogged two days in a row? I know I am, lol!
My card today is actually one we made in one my recent classes. I just love this Under the Mistletoe image, it's one of my faves from the holiday release from A Muse. I went with a bright and fun color scheme instead of traditional Christmas colors and I like how it turned out! The image is colored with Copic markers and I used an edge punch from EK Success to make the scallops on the brown strip.

Hello sweet blog readers! So sorry it's been ages since I've posted. Life has just been swamped and I haven't had any time for crafting (well, at least not that I can share on here) but I thought I would make it up to you! I've got 25 Christmas/Winter cards I'm going to share with as a countdown to Christmas!! How fun is that?! Although, I have to admit that it's going to be a big stretch for me to blog everyday 'till Christmas! I think I'll believe it once I actually do it, lol!
My first card uses one of my very favorite stamps! I got it a few months ago at Impress. As you might know, I *love* to spell out a word, omitting one of the letters to add in an image. Well, this stamp has done it for me as the space for the "O" is left blank! Love it! The paper is from a store in Colorade that I got back in May and I'm not sure who it's by, sorry! :( I punched a snowflake out the striped paper and attached it with a brad. Some sheer ribbon finished off this super easy design. :)

Hey chickies! Sorry I've been MIA for awhile, I just haven't had anything crafty to share - until today! The A Muse blog has been having LOTS of holiday inspiration lately (be sure to check it out!) and I've got a fast and fabulous card featured on there today. For my card, I wanted to try something a little different for me and use black as the card base. Not something I would normally use for a holiday card but I like how it turned out! And without even knowing it, Julie used the same color scheme, isn't that fun? :) I looooove the shimmer damask paper and it pairs perfectly with the Solid Damask image. A simple sentiment and couple of pearls finish off the card! Enjoy!

For my card today, this is one that I made awhile ago but never posted. I used the Trees 1 clear stamp set from A Muse. I have a "thing" for tree stamps so I love this set! The paper is from a kit that I have and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. Enjoy!
Heather Nichols is one of my favorite stampers and I'm always so inspired by her! She posted several cards the other day and as soon as I saw the fifth one down, I knew I wanted to make my own version of it. I used a clear stamp set from Hero Arts for the tree and since it was a clear stamp, it made lining them up evenly a snap! The GORGEOUS damask paper is from A Muse - I LOVE IT!!! I'm really happy with how this card turned out, I just wish I would have come up with it on my own, lol!

Hi everyone! I had a bit of "free" stamping time today and was inspired to do Dawn Mcvey's color challenge. She always had the BEST color combos and I am extremely inspired by color so I was excited to get to play along this time. I always want to play, but I usually never get a chance to. And here's my take on the card. I actually had a bit of a hard time on this card, my mojo just wasn't flowing! Oh well, I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I do like clean and simple cards! :)

Hellooooo! Sorry I'm a lame-o and didn't get a card posted yesterday! I was super busy in the morning and then I just crashed in the afternoon. I do have a card today, though! There have been soooo many gorgeous cards made with the new stamps from A Muse and my card was inspired by this one from Rhonda and this one from Krystie. Don't you just LOVE this new outline flower image? I can't wait to use it more. And of course, I'm used some of the new shimmer paper. This stuff is to die for and my pictures do not do it justice! Hopefully your local stamp store has some so you can see it in person! :)

Today I've got a cool and crisp card using the new gorgeous shimmer paper from A Muse! I'm soooo in love with all the new goodies, I can't stop using them! The new Leaf Frond image was stamped in ColorBox Moss Green and then cut out using my Cutterbee scissors and attached at an angle over the scallop circle with the Thank you RM sentiment on it. (Stamped in ColorBox Aqua.) I added a pearl on each of the full scallops along the bottom of the card, I just love this look! And there are TONS of pearls in each package, so I don't need to hoard them, lol! :) Have you seen the A muse blog yet today? I have another sample on there so be sure to check it out! Today I'm using the new Dill image, Espresso Shimmer paper and Apple Damask Shimmer paper. I'm telling you, this damask paper is the best thing EVER! I'm completely obsessed with it and can't stop using it! And just wait until you see all the new colors, they are scrumptious! And did you notice the other new thing? Check out the center of the flower petals...yep, those are the new Cranberry colored pearls!! Aaaahh! So pretty! To color my flower, I dabbed a Q-tip lightly in red ink and smudged it onto the flower. It gives it a nice, soft color.

ETA again - I had another person ask how I cut out the leaves and the answer is very carefully, lol! I just used my Cutterbee scissors and one trick for cutting out skinny images (like the stem) is to cut them out first and then move on to the larger part of the image next. It makes it a lot easier to do it that way. I also left just the slightest outline of white around the image to make it "pop" off the page more and not get lost in the colors of the paper.

Hello! You've probably already seen this new Pumpkin image but I just had to use it! I think it's my fave from the upcoming release from A Muse. And doesn't it go perfectly with the Vine Border? (By the way, I don't know what that white smudgy thing next to the sentiment is, I didn't notice it when I made the card last night so I'm thinking maybe Theo got a hold of my card this morning and added his little touch to it!) :)

I realized this morning that I never showed you this little invite that I made for my friend's son's second birthday. He had an airplane themed party and this is what I came up with. Every month Jennie hosts another great challenge over at the A Muse lounge and this time it's to make a project using a stamp that hasn't been used before. I don't normally get to play along but this month I did (not once, but twice! The next card will be coming soon.) I've been needing lots of baby cards lately so I thought it would be smart to make a few to have on hand. As you probably know, I LOATH mass-producing cards. Seriously, I can't stand it so it's like pulling teeth for me to make more than one of the same card. However, once I do, I'm always soooo happy to have extra cards around! I think I need to just get over it and start making more than one card all the time! :) For my card, I went with a super simple design since I was going to make several of them and I just switched out the paper for the boy and girl versions. I started with this delish A Muse petite gingham paper that I ran through my Cuttlebug using my new QuicKuts embossing folder (seriously, I LOOOOOVE that thing!), then I embossed a strip of French Roast notecard using my Swiss Dots embossing folder and since the back side of the brown paper is white, embossing it gives it a different look because some of the white shows through. The Crib image was stamped with Adirondack ink (first time using this stamp!) and then I stamped it again on the gingham paper, cut out the "bumper" and adhered it to my first stamped image. The image is punched out using a Marvy punch and then I attached it to the card using pop-dots. Sweet and simple! The inside is stamped with this sentiment (first time using that one, too!) Hope you like it! I'm off to start the day with Starbuck's and toast! :)
